Built with Integrity

Timms Community Centre

In 2003, after several attempts to obtain funding, the Township of Langley abandoned plans to build an entirely new civic facility and instead decided to purchase and renovate an existing four-storey office building.  The result is a facility that has unified staff, provides a civic presence in Langley and acts as the flagship for the Township's municipal activities.  In addition to municipal hall functions, the project provides a presentation theatre / council chamber, a branch library, a community police office and a community recreation facility.  The project received LEED-CI Silver Certification.
